HB 411 PN 1014 (Klunk):  This bill amends the Bingo Law (Act 67 of 1981) to increase bingo prize limits, allow the daily operation of bingo, permit advertisement of prize amounts and make other omnibus changes to the Bingo Law. The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

SB 892 PN 1259 (Reschenthaler): This bill amends the Chiropractic Practice Act, in licensure and regulation, further providing for license required.  The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1175 PN 2801 (Cutler): This bill amends Title 65 (Public Officers) to increase penalties under the Lobbyist Disclosure Law and require lobbyists to file reports with the state electronically.  The Department of State is to post all lobbying disclosure forms on its website within seven days of receipt.  The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1231 PN 2158 (Solomon): This bill establishes a veteran’s registry for the purposes of providing outreach and information on available veteran programs.  The bill directs DMVA to collaborate with other state agencies that encounter veterans for the purposes of including them on the registry.  The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1420 PN 1784 (Greiner): This bill amends the Solicitation of Funds for Charitable Purposes Act to change audit requirements for charitable organizations that receive annual contributions.  The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1421 PN 1785 (Greiner): This bill amends the Solicitation of Funds for Charitable Purposes Act to change statutory timeframes for submission and review of registration statements required under the Act.  The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1602 PN 2648 (Gillespie): This bill designates the bridge located on State Route 1008 over the Codorus Creek in East Manchester Township and Hellam Township, York County, as the “SPC Martin Wilson Kondor Memorial Bridge,” and makes several other road and bridge designations. Senator Scavello offered Amendment A05168, which would provide for the Roy J. Gross, Sr., Memorial Highway and for other highway designation specifics.  The amendment was agreed to and went over as amended. Senator Corman motioned to suspend Senate Rule 12 to proceed to an immediate vote on House Bill 1602 as amended.  The motion was agreed to and the bill was approved by a vote of 48-0.

HB 1778 PN 2405 (Dawkins): This bill designates a bridge on State Route 1005, over the Frankford Creek in the City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, as the “Officer Gary Frank Skerski Memorial Bridge.” The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1902 PN 2786 (A. Harris): This bill amends the Liquor Code to reauthorize the compliance check provisions for underage purchasers of alcohol for enforcement purposes, repeals certain provisions prohibiting interlocking businesses, and out-of-state contract breweries to input through the three-tier distribution system. The bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 1915 PN 2735 (Kauffman): This bill amends the Unemployment Compensation Law to provide an additional $115.2 million to the Service and Infrastructure Improvement Fund through 2021.  $30.2 million is earmarked for technological upgrades to the UC delivery system, with the rest going towards general operations and services for claimants and employers.  The bill was approved by a vote of 43-5.

SB 446 PN 1387 (McGarrigle):  This legislation amends The Administrative Code of 1929 to require the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) to license or certify drug and alcohol recovery houses which receive public funding.  The Senate concurred the House amendments 48-0.

SB 921 PN 1386 (Browne): This bill authorizes the Department of General Services to grant and convey land located in Lehigh County to TCA Properties, L.P.  The Senate concurred the House amendments 48-0.
