HB 12 PN 2472 (Schlossberg): This bill amends Title 23 (Domestic Relations) regarding divorce by mutual consent and counseling requirements. The bill was approved with a vote of 49-0.

HB 400 PN 1957 (Gingrich): This bill creates the Work Experience for High School Students with Disabilities Act with the aim of successfully transitioning high school students with disabilities into the workforce. The bill was approved 49-0.

SB 879 PN 1618 (Baker): This bill provides for the establishment of a savings program by the Treasury Department to encourage savings accounts for individuals with disabilities; establishing the Pennsylvania ABLE Savings Program and the ABLE Savings Program Fund; and imposing duties on the Treasury Department. The Senate concurred the House amendments with a vote of 48-0.

SB 1152 PN 1591 (Browne): This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to require children under the age of two to be in a rear-facing car seat while traveling in a vehicle unless that child outgrows the recommended height and weight designated by the manufacturer of the seat before turning 2 years of age. The bill was approved 49-0.

HB 1278 PN 1836 (Emrick): This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to further providing for television equipment visibility while operating a motor vehicle. The bill was approved 49-0.

HB 1589 PN 3178 (Causer): This bill amends the Fiscal Code to provide for budget implementation for the General Appropriations Act of 2015 (Act 10A of 2015) and the Supplemental Appropriation Act (Act 1A of 2016).  The bill was approved 38-11. Senator Corman motioned to reconsider the vote by which HB 1589 was approved.  The motion was agreed to and the bill was approved with a final vote of 37-11.
