Senator Langerholc offered Amendment A06927 which amends the section on short sentence parole by adding offenses that are not applicable to the section. This amendment passed by a unanimous vote.

SB 1092, PN 1577 (Mensch) – This bill amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) to create the offense of domestic violence in front of children. Senator Mensch offered Amendment A06931 which amends the language of the bill authorizing the Pennsylvania Sentencing Commission to develop a sentencing enhancement for assault or aggravated assault when committed against another family member and the offense was known to be witnessed by a child. The amendment passed by a unanimous vote.
