HB 80 PN 4318 (Metcalfe): Amends Title 18 in burglary and other criminal intrusion, further providing for the offense of criminal trespass; defining the offense of theft of secondary metal; prescribing penalties; and, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for Pennsylvania State Police and for limitation on the regulation of firearms and ammunition. The bill was approved 34-14.

HB 1163 PN 3858 (Stephens): Amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) by prohibiting a municipal ordinance from penalizing a resident, tenant or landlord if police or emergency assistance was dispatched in response to an individual needing intervention or emergency assistance. The bill was approved 48-0.

SB 720 PN 2358 (Baker): Creates the Disaster Emergency Assistance Act under a new chapter (79) of Title 35; and provides for powers of arrest for out-of-state law enforcement officers. The bill was approved 48-0.

SB 1180 PN 2393 (Vance): Creates the Achieving Better Care by Monitoring All Prescriptions Program (ABC-MAP). The bill was approved 46-2.

SB 1239 PN 2396 (Rafferty): Corrects language that the PA Superior Court has determined to be technically flawed in the Vehicle Code pertaining to certain repeat DUI offenders; changes what is considered a second and subsequent offense in response to a PA Supreme Court decision; and also changes provisions related to the issuance of Occupational Limited Licenses. The bill was approved 48-0.

SB 1355 PN 2319 (Yaw): Amends the Radiation Protection Act (Act 147 of 1984) to provide for a fee increase. The bill was approved 48-0.

SB 428 PN 2321 (Costa): Amends Title 20 (Decedents, Estates and Fiduciaries) in pooled trusts by removing a medical assistance reimbursement requirement and making a technical change. The bill was approved 48-0.

SB 508 PN 2354 (Prime Sponsor Withdrew): Language from the original bill is replaced by an amendment to the Crime Victims Act which adds a new provision entitled “Revictimization Relief.”  The bill was approved 37-11.

SB 1135 PN 2269 (Hughes): Amends Act 256 of 1937 (Housing Authorities Law) regarding veteran preferences. The bill was approved 48-0.

HB 1773 PN 4312 (Ross): Comprehensively amends the Municipalities Financial Recovery Act (Act 47 of 1987), which provides procedures and options to assist financially distressed municipalities and to help them return to fiscal stability. The bill was approved 43-5
