HB 33, PN 355 (Grell) – This bill would amend the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code to permit a governing body to appoint between one and three individuals to a four-year term as an alternate on a planning commission. A vote of 48-0 was recorded.
SB 296, PN 1091 (Hughes) – This bill amends Titles 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in falsification and intimidation, further providing for false alarms to agencies of public safety; and, in sentencing, providing for sentencing for offenses involving false alarms to agencies of public safety. Senator Costa offered amendment A03423 on behalf of Senator Hughes. The amendment was technical in nature. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.
