SB 1267, PN 1893 (Rafferty) – SB 1267 amends the Department of Transportation’s Green Light-Go Program to allow a municipality to enter into an agreement with PennDOT to replace, synchronize and time traffic signals located within a critical or designated traffic corridor. Senator Gordner offered amendment A09115 on behalf of Senator Corman. The amendment requires PennDOT to evaluate the effectiveness of automated red light enforcement systems in Philadelphia. The amendment was agreed to and the bill went over in its order as amended.
