Nursing Home Sustainability and Costs

On Thursday, April 9, 2026, Senate Democratic Policy Committee Chair Nick Miller (D-14) will host a policy hearing on Nursing Home Sustainability and Costs. This hearing will examine the sustainability of nursing homes, statewide and regional aging demographics, projected needs for the aging community, effects on the labor force, and actions we can take to keep these vital organizations open. A virtual attendance option will be afforded for all those who cannot be physically present.
This hearing will be held at Fellowship Community Center located at 3020 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, PA 18052.
