HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Senate passed a redistricting reform bill Wednesday that had been dramatically changed the day before, drawing fire from anti-gerrymandering advocates who had turned against legislation they helped craft.

The Pennsylvania Senate voted Wednesday to change the way judges are elected and to change the way legislative and congressional districts are established. But those changes are a long way to becoming law.
