HARRISBURG – May 8, 2019 – State Senator Art Haywood (D-Montgomery/Philadelphia) will join Congressman Evans, PA Department of Human Services Secretary Miller, Senator Hughes, and Senator Blake on a statewide poverty tour from May 22-30th.   On the 5-stop tour, elected officials will hear the effects of poverty across Pennsylvania—the first tour of its kind to happen in the State Senate in recent history.  Covering five regions of Pennsylvania, residents living in city, small town, and rural areas will share the real experiences of living in poverty and the struggle to break the cycle.
