Harrisburg, PA – December 12, 2024 – Senator-elect Patty Kim (D-15) announced today $2,068,236 in funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) benefitting the 15th district of Dauphin County.

“From behavioral health to adult probation services, these funds are an investment in safer communities and stronger services for victims of crime and their families,” said Kim. “I applaud the PCCD for delivering for the people of the 15th district and the great organizations administering these funds.”

Awardees from the Federal Victims of Crime Funds, Rights and Services Act Funds, and Victims of Juvenile Offender Funds are as follows:

  • Pennsylvania District Attorney’s Institute was awarded $453,000 for Statewide Victim Witness Training Project 2025.
  • Dauphin County was awarded $444,925 for Rights and Services Act and Victims of Juvenile Offenders services.

Awardees from the State Endowment Act:

  • Hempfield Behavioral Health, Inc was awarded $49,831 for Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention Training for Mental Health Therapists.
  • Harrisburg Area YMCA was awarded $200,000 for Safe Touch & Smarter Parents Round 2 training to prevent child sexual abuse.

UPMC CAC of Central PA (Pinnacle Health Medical Services) was also awarded $47,000 from the State Children’s Advocacy Center Funds for Birth Certificate Funds.

Penbrook Borough was awarded $250,000 from the State Medical Marijuana Enforcement Act Funds.

Dauphin County was also awarded $623,480 from the Continuing County Adult Probation and Parole Grant Funds for their Improvement of Adult Probation Services.
