Lower Gwynedd, Pa. – February 7, 2023 — Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) has announced $388,566 in grant funding for 29 local fire companies and emergency medical services (EMS) departments awarded by the Office of the State Fire Commissioner.

Senator Collett commented: “Local first responders – the majority of whom are volunteers in my district – are critical to public safety and put their lives on the line every day to protect us. These grants will help them secure the equipment and training they need to do their jobs safely and effectively.”
