HB 121, PN 3560 (Ecker) – This legislation authorizes transfers of Project 70 restrictions from 0.043 acres of State Game Land 249 that will be purchased by the Department of Transportation for highway right-of-way to 0.043 acres of replacement game land that will be deeded over to the Pennsylvania Game Commission by the Department of Transportation; authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant and convey to Pennhurst Holdings DE, LLC, certain lands and improvements situate in East Vincent Township, Chester County; authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant and convey to the Bear Creek Township Volunteer Hose Company certain lands, buildings and improvements situate in Bear Creek Township, Luzerne County; authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant and convey to City Center Investment Corp., certain lands situate in the City of Allentown and the City of Bethlehem, Lehigh County; authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant and convey to the Centre County Industrial Development Corporation certain lands and improvements situate in Benner Township, Centre County; authorizing the Department of General Services, with the approval of the Governor, to grant and convey to Berks County Intermediate Unit certain lands and improvements situate in Windsor Township, Berks County, being a portion of the former Hamburg Center. A vote of 46-3 was recorded.

SB 589, PN 714 (Kearney) – Amending the Home Rule Charter and Optional Plans Law within Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) to allow distressed municipalities within Act 47 to form government study commissions by resolution, to provide for the Act 47 coordinator to participate in the commission, to provide for commissions to consider a municipality’s Act 47 plan and financial needs in its report, and to allow home rule charters to contain taxpayer protection provisions. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1225, PN 1932 (Mensch) – Requires insurance coverage for all costs associated with annual supplemental breast screening for women at increased risk of breast cancer. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1330, PN 1981 (K. Ward) – Requires insurance coverage for all costs associated with genetic counseling and testing for BRCA gene mutations for individuals at increased risk based on a clinical risk assessment tool and a personal or family history of breast or ovarian cancer. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 2667, PN 3226 (Mercuri) – This bill provides for remote mortgage locations to provide for the storage of personal records at these locations. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 139, PN 1922 (Mastriano) – Amends the Public School Code to require schools to conduct a moment of silence for the anniversary of September 11, 2001 and requires the Department of Education to establish a 9/11 model curriculum. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1282, PN 1742 (Pittman) – This bill extends environmental liability protections to land banks. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
