HB 1850, PN 2318 (Smith-Wade-El) – This bill amends The Second Class Township Code (P.L. 103, No. 69) Section 917, relating to the appointment of an accountant, by clarifying in paragraph (2) that an advertisement is only required during the initial vote to replace the elected auditors of a township with a CPA or firm, and stipulates that a reappointment from one CPA or firm to another does not require an additional advertisement. A vote of 48-0 was recorded.

Amendment A06071 (Pittman) – The amendment moves the effective date of section 9024 of the Vehicle Code that provides for an Electric Vehicle Road User Charge from Jan. 1, 2025 to April 1, 2025.
Further, the amendment delays the implementation of the payment plan for payment of the EV registration fee to July 17, 2026.
The amendment was agreed to by a voice vote. A vote of 48-0 was recorded on the bill.
