SB 381 PN 328 (Mastriano): This bill amends Titles 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and 35 (Health and Safety), in riot, disorderly conduct and related offenses, further providing for non-applicability of subchapter; in public safety, prohibiting certain animal experimentation, sale and testing and providing for whistleblower protection; and imposing penalties. Senator Pittman offered Amendment A01633, which moves the bill from Title 18 to Title 35. It also prohibits the use of Commonwealth funds to devocalize an animal subject or procure an animal that is devocalized. The amendment was adopted, 48-1, and the bill went over as amended.
