SB 1131, PN 1887 (Comitta) – The bill amends Title 8 (Boroughs and Incorporated Towns) to provide for an expedited process to fill vacancies. A vote of 48-0 was recorded.

SB 1176, PN 1911 (Dush) – The bill amends the Public School Code to require schools to accept cash payment for entry into school-sponsored activities.  A vote of 47-1 was recorded.

SB 1289, PN 1830 (Kearney) – The bill amends The Second Class Township Code to provide for an expedited process to fill vacancies. A vote of 48-0 was recorded.

SB 1320, PN 1883 (DiSanto) – The bill amends Act 249 of 1965, to include virtual currency under the oversight of the Department of Banking Securities (DOBS) to provide enhanced consumer protection.

Amendment A05883 (DiSanto) – The amendment adds that a licensee shall operate in a safe and sound manner, ensuring that its practices and the practices of its agents, if applicable, do not create the likelihood of material loss, insolvency or dissipation of assets, or otherwise materially prejudice the interest of individuals who use the licensee’s services to transmit money or virtual economy.

This amendment also makes other technical changes to the bill.
