SB 1091, PN 1326 (Farry) – This bill designates Bridge Key 7041, carrying Pennsylvania Route 513 over Neshaminy Creek in Hulmeville Borough, Bucks County, is designated as the Corporal Robert Lee Clampffer Memorial Bridge.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 1284, PN 1580 (Baker) – This bill amends Titles 18 (Crimes and Offenses) and 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) to increase penalties for attempt, conspiracy, or solicitation to commit murder of a law enforcement officer.  A vote of 41-8 was recorded.

SB 1286, PN 1604 (J. Ward) – This bill amends Title 75 (Vehicles) establishing an enhanced penalty for the offense of careless driving resulting in unintentional death.  Senator J. Ward offered amendment  A03192, which was technical in nature.  The vote on the amendment was 31-18.  The bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 1294, PN 1611 (J. Ward) – This bill amends the Private Licensed Schools Act to increase tenfold the maximum civil penalty for private licensed schools who violate the act or operate without a proper license.  Senator J. Ward offered amendment A03195, which removes the current language in the bill and replaces it with a new paragraph that increases the civil penalty from $2,500 to $25,000 against any unlicensed training school and programs.  The amendment was approved via voice vote and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 250, PN 610 (Dush) – An Act providing for display of the Preamble of the Constitution of Pennsylvania in each school building.  A vote of 36-13 was recorded.

SB 598, PN 604 (Dush) – An Act providing for display of the Preamble of the Constitution of the United States in each school building.  A vote of 38-11 was recorded.
