SB 45, PN 1761 (Dush, Collett) – This bill amends Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) relocating offenses relating to prostitution to Chapter 30 (relating to human trafficking) and increases penalties.  Senator Collett offered amendment A3521, which adds definitions and makes additional technical changes.   The amendment was agreed to via voice vote.  The bill was later approved on supplemental calendar by a vote of 49-1.

SB 835, PN 928 (Pennycuick, Santarsiero) – This bill requires the POW/MIA flag to be displayed at public school buildings.  A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 1313, PN 1651 (Rothman) – This bill creates a “Native Pennsylvanian Annual License” to allow eligible nonresidents to purchase hunting licenses at the resident price. Eligibility is limited to nonresidents who were born in Pennsylvania and no longer reside in the Commonwealth, or have a living parent or former guardian currently residing in Pennsylvania.  Senator Rothman offered amendment A3478, which clarifies provisions related to cost and application requirements.  The amendment was approved and the bill went over in its order as amended.
