SB 766, PN 987 (Brown) – This bill amends the Human Services Code providing for eligibility of certain school aged children to attend short term programs, such as summer camps. A vote of 46-4 was recorded.
HB 1058, PN 2025 (Shusterman) – Amends the State Lottery Law to reduce the current profit margin requirement for lottery ticket sales, from the current requirement of no less than 20% of total revenues from the sale of lottery tickets, to no less than 10% for the fiscal year beginning after June 30, 2025. A vote of 49-1 was recorded.
SB 95, PN 1019 (Phillips-Hill) – Amends the Pharmacy Act permitting EMS providers to leave a dose of naloxone with a caregiver of a patient who has overdosed and require pharmacists to disclose certain prescription drug pricing information to the consumer upon request. The Senate concurred in House amendments by a vote of 48-2.
HB 640, PN 2052 (D. Williams) – Amends the Administrative Code by updating the Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs annual reporting requirements to the General Assembly. It also extends the sunset date on court surcharges from July 31, 2025 to December 31, 2027. The Senate concurred in House amendments to Senate amendments by a vote of 46-4.
