Souderton, Pa. − June 23, 2026 − On Saturday, June 20, State Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery)and Representative Steve Malagari (D-53 Montgomery) hosted their third annual Family Fest at The Rotary Park in Souderton Borough.
“I’m so proud to work with Rep. Malagari each year to connect local families with the resources they need to thrive – whether that’s help with household costs, finding volunteer opportunities, joining sports clubs, or simply meeting new neighbors,” said Senator Collett. “I’m grateful to Souderton Borough for hosting us in Rotary Park, to our wonderful vendors and donors, and to the hundreds of community members who joined us for an afternoon of fun.”
More than 500 attendees visited 40+ community vendors during the event, including sports and arts organizations, nonprofits, social services and state agencies. Children and families also enjoyed free balloon art, face painting, lawn games, snacks from the North Penn Goodwill Services canteen, and more.
“This is our third Family Fest, and it has quickly become a summer tradition,” Rep. Malagari said. “I look forward to it every year and I think the community does as well. Whether you’re looking for activities for the kids, resources for Seniors or just to spend some time having fun in the park, there’s something for everyone at Family Fest. We’ve already started planning for next year, and we’re excited to continue growing this event for our community.”
This year’s event was generously supported by Souderton Connects, St. Luke’s University Health Network, Independence Blue Cross, Pretzel Pete, Giant Food Stores, Wawa, and Clemens Food Group.
