Pennsylvania kicked off 2024 with its long-standing tradition:  the 108th PA Farm Show! The popular expo attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors to the PA Farm Show Complex from January 6th to the 13th. This year’s theme, Connecting Our Communities, encouraged farm show goers to connect with the people who make Pennsylvania agriculture great.

For Pennsylvania Senate Democrats, including Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee co-chair Senator Judy Schwank, the show was not only a fun-filled outing at the nation’s largest indoor ag expo; it was also an opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to supporting the ag industry.

Did you know Pennsylvania’s agriculture industry supports 593,000 jobs and contributes $132.5 billion to the commonwealth’s economy each year? Thank you, farmers – and everyone in the agriculture industry – for all you do for the place we call home!

PS: Congratulations to Senator Amanda Cappelletti who helped her team take home the blue ribbon at the show’s annual Celebrity Cow Milking Contest!
