DELAWARE COUNTY, PA – September 9, 2025 – Senator Tim Kearney (D-Delaware) today announced that $4,024,801 in funding from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) has been awarded to organizations and initiatives in Delaware County. These funds will support vital programs that enhance community safety, support victims, and ensure justice is served.
“These funds are an investment in our community’s safety,” said Senator Kearney. “They will help protect our neighbors, support victims of crime, and ensure every resident feels secure at home. I’m proud to see these resources directed to our district and remain committed to building safer, stronger neighborhoods.”
The recipients and award totals are listed below:
Federal Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Funds
- CASA Youth Advocates, Inc. received $401,572 for Advocacy for child victims of abuse and neglect
- Delaware County Victim Assistance Center received $859,992 for Victims of Crime Act – Delaware County
- Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County, Inc. received $466,887 for Services for Victims of Domestic Violence
- Family Support Line of Delaware County, Inc. received $306,297 for Maintaining CAC Services to Delaware County
- Legal Aid of Southeastern Pennsylvania received $535,140 for Increasing Safety for Domestic Abuse Victims
- SeniorLAW Center received $1,454,913 for Keeping elder victims S.A.F.E.
