SB 467, PN 420 (Pisciottano) – Authorizes the releases of Project 70 protected land owned by the Pennsylvania Turnpike in exchange for the imposition of Project 70 restrictions on land transferred to Borough of West Mifflin.
Senator Argall offered amendment A014122 which authorizes the Department of General Services to convey certain land in Tuscarora State Park historically used as a customer parking lot in Rush Township, Schuylkill County to the White Birch Golf Course and Restaurant for $1. The amendment was approved by a vote of 34-15.
SR 116, PN 885 (Mastriano) – Resolution would urge Congress to support HR2102 (Major Richard Star Act). The Act provides that combat-disabled uniformed services retirees with fewer than 20 years of creditable service may concurrently receive, without reduction, veterans’ disability compensation and retired pay or combat-related special compensation. The resolution was adopted by a voice vote.
