SB 1368, PN 1774 (Pennycuick) – This bill prohibits nudification applications from being offered on online application marketplaces and prescribes penalties. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.
HB 513, PN 3733 (Davanzo) – Creates the Pennsylvania State Place Coordinate System Act within Title 76 (Weights, Measures and Standards). A vote of 48-1 was recorded.
SB 980, PN 1624 (Yaw) – Amends Title 35 (Health and Safety) to limit the manufacturing, sale, distribution, and use of firefighting foam containing PFAS and increase limits to the Fire & EMS Loan Program. Senator Yaw offered amendment A4350, which allows the commissioner to grant a waiver permitting loans to be used for purchasing personal protective equipment containing PFAS when no viable or reasonable PFAS‑free alternative exists. The amendment was approved 27-22 and the bill went over in its order as amended.
