SB 1150, PN 1399 (Stefano) – Amends Title 65 Section 712.1, in the Sunshine Act, to clarify when an agency may add business to a meeting for an already published agenda. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
SB 1260, PN 1763 (Robinson) – Creates the Electrical Services Licensure Act to establish statewide licensure of electrical contractors, electricians, residential electricians, apprentice electricians and probationary electrical workers. The bill establishes a new State Board of Electrical Licensure within the Department of State and authorizes the board to regulate licensure, continuing education, fees, discipline, enforcement and public reporting. The bill also preempts local licensure requirements by prohibiting municipalities from requiring a separate local license for an individual already licensed under the act.

SB 1261, PN 1625 (Mastriano) – Amends Title 35 (Health and Safety) to make several changes to the Fire & EMS Grant Program including updating definitions, removing the Firefighter 1 incentive, giving the Fire Commissioner the ability to create a certification bonus point system to award additional grants, and repealing the COVID-19 Crisis Fire Company and Emergency Medical Services Grant Program. The bill was amended in Committee to increase the loan limits for all categories in the Fire and EMS Loan Program. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
