Norristown, PA – March 11, 2026 – Today, Senator Amanda M. Cappelletti (D-17 Delaware/Montgomery) announced $1,147,237 in grant funding approved by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) that will bolster several county services and nonprofit organizations serving the 17th Senate District.

The approved funding for District 17 includes investments from the NonProfit Security Grant Fund Program and FY 2025-2026 Indigent Defense Grant Program Funds.

“The right to legal counsel and the right to worship freely are two of our most fundamental Constitutional rights. These investments are essential in ensuring those rights are upheld here in District 17,” said Senator Cappelletti. “I look forward to seeing this funding support our essential county services and religious community organizations who are fervently serving our neighbors.”

The awards to organizations serving the 17th Senatorial District include:
