January 30, 2026 – Senator Nick Miller today announced a $238,000 investment in Lehigh and Northampton Counties through the Food Recovery Infrastructure Grant (FRIG) Program to help reduce food waste and fight hunger.

“These grants provide essential funding that enables our local organizations to continue their vital work of organizing food drives, offering shelter, and delivering critical resources to families in need,” said Senator Miller. “By supporting these organizations, we are ensuring that individuals and families receive the help they need and are not left behind during challenging times.”

Key Investments Include:

Lehigh County

  • Syrian Arab American Charity Association – $50,000
  • Parkland CARES Food Pantry Inc – $50,000
  • The Salvation Army Hospitality House – $38,068

Northampton County

  • New Bethany Inc DBA New Bethany Ministries DBA Episcopal Ministries – $50,000
  • Community Action Committee of Lehigh Valley – $49,932
