Souderton, Pa. October 22, 2025 − On Friday, October 17, Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) hosted her annual Senior Services and Wellness Hub event at Generations of Indian Valley in Souderton, PA.

“Making sure Pennsylvanians can live and age with dignity is a top priority for me as a registered nurse and as the Democratic Chair of the Senate Aging & Youth Committee,” said Collett. “Our goal with the Senior Hub event is to remove barriers and create a space where older adults can connect directly with the services and resources available to them and their families.”

During the event, over 150 attendees visited 20+ vendors, including social services, nonprofits, health providers and state agencies. Older adults registered for their free Senior SEPTA Fare Cards, found unclaimed property with the PA Treasury, had their blood sugar levels tested with DeSales University Physical Therapists, received seasonal vaccinations from Giant Pharmacy and more. Participants enjoyed cafe refreshments sponsored by Senator Collett, and a free noon meal provided by Generations.

Community members who were unable to attend the Senior Hub event are encouraged to call Senator Collett’s office at 215-368-1429 to learn more about the services her office can assist with.
