SB 460, PN 394 (Argall) – Amends the Governor and Lieutenant Governor Disability Procedure Law to provide for incapacity of the Governor and Lieutenant Governor.  Senator Argall offered Amendment A1667, which changes the term “incapacitated” or “incapacitation” to “disabled” or “disability” within the bill.  The amendment was adopted, 37-9, and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 922, PN 1053 (Martin) – This bill amends the Private Academic Schools Act to update and relax some application requirements; allow for conditional approvals; and require promulgation of regulations pertaining to the qualifications of teachers, staff and directors.  Senator Martin offered Amendment A1570, which is technical in nature.  The amendment was approved, 44-2, and the bill  was rereferred to the Appropriations Committee.

SB 533, PN 519 (Robinson) – Amends Title 34 (Game) relating to disabled veteran hunting event permits. Purple Heart recipients and disabled veterans will be exempt from license and permit fee requirements while participating in PGC-permitted events.  A vote of 46-0 was recorded.
