SB 438, PN 1184 (Bartolotta) – Amends Title 51 (Military Affairs) to create a Veteran-Owned Business Logo for use by veteran-owned businesses. Senator Bartolotta offered amendment A02751 which makes a technical correction to the title of the bill and corrects a numbering reference in the bill. The amendment makes no substantive changes. The amendment was agreed to by a voice vote. The bill was approved by a vote of 50-0.

HB 735, PN 2209 (Warren) – Establishes the Flood Insurance Premium Task Force to study the administration of flood insurance and make recommendations for public education and strategies to combat high premiums. Senator Pittman offered amendment A02753 which adds a section pertaining to the scope of the legislation and another section adding the definition of surplus as it pertains to the legislation. The amendment was agreed to by a voice vote. The bill was approved by a vote of 50-0.

SB 842, PN 995 (Dillon) – Would amend Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) by creating a new section, § 2709.2 that would create a misdemeanor offense for harassing a sports official. A vote of 48-2 was recorded.

SB 959, PN 1168 (Robinson) – Would amend the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act by requiring the Secretary of Health to schedule any drug that is added under Federal law. However, it would remove the ability for the Secretary to remove or reschedule a controlled substance. A vote of 30-20 was recorded.

HB 1094, PN 1306 (Munroe) – Allows children of military families to enroll in the school district where they will be living prior to establishing residency. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

HB 1170, PN 1235 (Sappey) – Renames the Milk Marketing Board to the Pennsylvania Milk Board. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
