HB 374, PN 2942 (Krieger) – The bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) and 53 (Municipalities Generally) by adding county park police force in a third class county that is contiguous with a second class (Westmoreland County) to the list of police officers that must receive training from the Municipal Police Officers’ Education and Training Commission. A vote of 46-0 was recorded.

HB 777, PN 889 (Grove) – This legislation would reinstate the moratorium on including Social Security COLA’s in the definition of “income” for purposes of PACE/PACENET eligibility until December 31, 2015. The moratorium expired on December 31, 2013.  A vote of 46-0 was recorded.

SB 807, PN 1594 (McIlhinney) – The bill amends the Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors Act by creating a voluntary license for a bachelor of social work.  A vote of 46-0 was recorded.

HB 1559, PN 2927 (Farina) – This bill amends the Public School Code to provide for professional development education in youth suicide prevention.  A vote of 46-0 was recorded.
