Mientras que los propietarios de pequeñas empresas y los políticos han exigido que el estado reabra rápidamente, los riesgos para la salud de la reapertura recaen en gran medida sobre los trabajadores negros, marrones y blancos mal pagados. Los trabajadores esenciales de tiendas de comestibles, restaurantes, servicios de alimentación y transporte público se quedaron en el trabajo para salvarnos, ya que muchos de nosotros nos quedamos en casa, incluso trabajamos desde casa.
