Amendment A05934 (Baker) – The amendment:
- Changes the date for the commencement of Staff Education and Training Programs and Education Programs for a Pregnant Confined Child from October 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025.
- Makes changes to requirements for when restraints may be used on a pregnant individual.
- Requires consultation with the Department of Health as well as DHS by the Department of Corrections.
- Makes other technical changes to the bill.
