SB 917 PN 1922 (Browne): This bill amends Title 42 (Judiciary and Judicial Procedure) to facilitate the sharing of information among agencies that are involved with child welfare and delinquency cases or the identification of children at risk of abuse or neglect. The Senate concurred the House amendments 50-0. 

SB 1104 PN 1896 (Greenleaf): This bill amends to the Probate, Estates and Fiduciaries Code (Probate Code), Title 20 of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, including the consolidation of the Charitable Instruments Act of 1971 into the Probate Code. The Senate concurred the House amendments 50-0. 

SB 1123 PN 1937 (Vogel): This bill amends Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in weights and measures to provide for automotive fuel standards. The Senate concurred the House amendments 50-0.

HB 2137 PN 3670 (Adolph): This bill appropriates funding for the Pennsylvania State University. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 2138 PN 3671 (Adolph): This bill appropriates funding for the University of Pittsburgh. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 2139 PN 3672 (Adolph): This bill appropriates funding for Temple University. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 2140 PN 3673 (Adolph): This bill appropriates funding for Lincoln University. The bill was approved 49-1.

HB 2141 PN 3674 (Adolph): This bill appropriates funding for the University of Pennsylvania. The bill was approved 50-0.

 HB 60 PN 3646 (Baker): This bill amends the Insurance Company Law, in casualty insurance, providing for coverage for oral chemotherapy medications. The bill was approved 50-0.

SB 289 PN 173 (Fontana): This bill amends Act 58 of 1949 (Allowing Municipalities to Get Funds for Sewage Systems) to allow for the use of public funds for the repair or extension of private lateral sewer lines. The bill was approved 50-0.

HB 898 PN 3675 (Boyle): This bill amends the definition of emergency vehicles in Section 102 of Title 75 (Vehicles) to include certain vehicles owned and operated by a county correctional institution in the city of the first class (Philadelphia Prison System) and vehicles owned and operated by the PA Turnpike Commission used by an emergency service responder. The bill was approved 50-0.

SB 1282 PN 1862 (Wagner): This legislation amends Title 68 (Real and Personal Property) by adding provisions to clarify the manner in which a county Recorders of Deeds Office may charge fees for the recording of amendments to declarations of condominiums, cooperatives and planned communities. The bill was approved 48-2.

SB 1312 PN 1938 (Smucker): This bill would create the Substitute Teaching Permit for Prospective Teachers in Pennsylvania. The bill was approved 48-2.

HB 1947 PN 3667 (Marsico): This bill amends the Judicial Code regarding civil and criminal statute of limitations for child sexual abuse, and provides for waivers of sovereign and governmental immunity relating to claims of childhood sexual abuse. Senator Wagner made a motion to revert the bill to prior printer’s number, however the motioned failed.  The bill was approved 49-0.

HB 871 PN 3457 (Sankey): This bill provides for de-titling of vehicles when they are recycled by a scrap metal processor. Senator Bartolotta offered Amendment A09153, which allows insurance companies to request a salvage certificate for a vehicle from the Department of Transportation if they are unable to obtain the assigned certificate.  The amendment was agreed to the bill went over as amended.

SR 294 PN 2005 (Stefano): This resolution directs the Joint State Government Commission to examine the use of evidence-based decision making by the Commonwealth. The resolution was unanimously adopted.

SR 365 PN 1857 (Brewster): This resolution urges the President and Pennsylvania’s elected Federal officials to fight for strong enforcement of trade laws in order to level the playing field with China.  It also urges Federal officials to take any necessary action to protect the domestic steel industry from unfair foreign competition. The resolution was unanimously adopted.

SB 691 PN 1761 (Mensch):  This bill amends the Fiscal Code, in cigarette sales and licensing, further providing for definitions, for retention of records and for violations and penalties and providing for preemption. The bill was approved 49-0.

SB 1320 PN 1932 (Browne): The bill amends the Fiscal Code to add an article to provide for general budget restrictions on appropriations for certain funds and accounts. The bill was approved 50-0.
