HB 278, PN 2419 (Keller) – Amends the Second Class Township Code to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 279, PN 2420 (Keller) – Amends the First Class Township Code to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 284, PN 2424 (Keller) – Amends the County Code to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 288, PN 2426 (Keller) – Amends the Public Auditorium Authorities Law to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 289, PN 2429 (Keller) – Amends Act 38 ½ of 1936 regarding municipal flood improvements to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 290, PN 2551 (Keller) – Amends the Second Class County Code  to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  Senator Costa offered amendment A05702 , which further provides for the descriptions of duties and appointment of Chief Deputy Sherriff, Deputy Sherriff and Clerk in counties of the second class.  The Senate agreed to the amendment and the bill went over as amended.

HB 291, PN 2428 (Keller) – Amends Title 53 (Municipalities Generally) regarding intergovernmental cooperation to increase non-bid contract maximums and to provide for the annual indexing and adjusting of these figures for inflation.  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 595, PN 1663 (Pileggi) – This bill amends Title 75 as it pertains to the “Automated Red Light Enforcement Program.” Senator Pileggi offered Amendment A05696, which makes changes to the applicability of the law by including a provision for approval of the affected police department prior to installation of red light cameras, and requires that all reports on red light camera use provided to the legislature be made public record under the Right-to-Know law.  The Senate agreed to the amendment and the bill went over as amended.
