SB 320, PN 324 (Killion) – Establishes the Uniform Access to Digital Assets Act. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 332, PN 314 (Stefano) – Amends Title 18 in forgery and fraudulent practices regarding bad checks. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 351, PN 341 (J. Ward) – Amends Section 2702(c)(9) of Title 18 regarding aggravated assault of a health care practitioner. Senator Farnese offered amendment A03153 which adds “media professional” to the list of officers, employees or other persons identified. A “media professional;” is defined as an officer, agent or employee of a news media organization engaged in news gathering or the dissemination of information in a daily or weekly newspaper, magazine, periodical, book, digital publication or radio or television news. The amendment failed by a vote of 22-27 and the bill was approved by a vote of 49-0.

HB 510, PN 885 (Schemel) – This bill allows municipalities to enter intergovernmental cooperation agreements through resolutions and removes the requirement that such agreements must be entered via ordinance. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 511, PN 497 (Schemel) – Removes a Second Class Township Code requirement that townships may only enter intergovernmental cooperative agreements through ordinance. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 512, PN 498 (Schemel) – Removes a requirement that Cities of the Third Class may only enter intergovernmental cooperation agreements through ordinance. A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 906, PN 1287 (Yudichak) – This bill would provide for a moratorium on the closure of State centers and establish the Task Force on the Closure of State Centers to evaluate and provide recommendations for State centers before they could be closed. Senator Corman offered amendment A03468 which makes technical changes to the bill. The amendment was agreed to by a voice vote and the bill was re-referred to the committee on Appropriations.
