SB 792, PN 1004 (Alloway) – Amends Title 3 (Agriculture) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, providing for labels and labeling for fertilizer as well as guidelines for fertilizer use on turf.  Senator Alloway offered amendment A06158- a gut and replace amendment providing for the labeling, application, recordkeeping, packaging, use, sale and distribution of agricultural, turf and other specialty fertilizers across Pennsylvania.  The amendment was agreed to via voice vote and the bill went over in its order as amended.

SB 1002, PN 1430 (White) – This bill designates a bridge on that portion of State Route 1041 over the Mahoning Creek in Grant Township and Canoe Township, Indiana County, as the “Army SPC Christine L. Mayes Memorial Bridge,” and the bridge over the South Branch Cush Creek in Montgomery Township, Indiana County, as the “Sgt. Edward John Parada Memorial Bridge.”  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

HB 1845, PN 2584 (F. Keller) – This bill designates the bridge located on State Route 2026 over the North Branch Blacklick Creek, Buffington Township, Indiana County, as the “First Lieutenant Theodore P. Pytash Bridge.”  A vote of 49-0 was recorded.

SB 762, PN 1384 (Ward) – This bill amends Title 25 (Elections) to require the Auditor General to conduct an audit of the Statewide Uniform Registry of Electors (SURE system) and report back to Senate and House State Government Committees.  The Department of State will be responsible for audit costs.  Senator Ward offered amendment A06157, which was technical in nature.  The amendment was agreed to via voice vote.  The Senate agreed to the bill as amended and then re-refereed it to the Appropriations Committee.

SB 919, PN 1270 (Haywood) – This bill amends the Housing Authorities Law to permit residents of housing authorities to request relocation if they are the victim of domestic or sexual violence.  Senator Bartolotta offered amendment A05352, which removes the requirement that the housing choice voucher be provided to the victim within 30 days, and makes technical changes.  The amendment was agreed to via voice vote.  The Senate agreed to the bill as amended and then re-refereed it to the Appropriations Committee.
