SB 1006 PN 1304(Vogel): The bill amends the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device and Cosmetic Act by adding subclasses to include Salvia Divinorum, Salvinorin ADivinorin Asynthetic marijuana, synthetic cocaine/heroin and 2C as Schedule I controlled substances. The Senate concurred in house amendments by a vote of 50-0.

SB 1086 PN 1333 (Piccola): This legislation amends the Library Code by establishing a new section (State-aid for 2011-2012) to provide for the distribution of State-aid to libraries in Fiscal Year 2011-2012. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 832 PN 850(Robbins): This legislation amends Act 566 of 1955  (Incorporated Towns) by clarifying that a town may create and abolish the office of a town manager, and that the town council may hire and replace, at its pleasure, the person holding that position. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 1096 PN 1081(D. White): The bill amends the Insurance Company Law relating to the regulation of surplus lines insurance and independently procured insurance. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.

SB 1097 PN 1279(D.White): This bill amends the Insurance Company Law by making consistent with the NRRA reforms and also to allow the Commonwealth to collect tax on 100% of the premium when Pennsylvania is the home State of the insured. A vote of 50-0 was recorded.
