PA Senate Democrats stand for women’s equality.

We have been working tirelessly to advance issues such as closing the wage gap, protecting victims of domestic violence, fighting for workplace equality, ensuring paid family leave,
and defending a woman’s right to control her own body and health choices.

Defending equality will continue to be a focus for our caucus in the years to come because

when women thrive, we all thrive.

The PA Senate Democrats partnered with KYW News to host

Flashpoint LIVE: Women Who Work!

a non-partisan discussion on the politics and policies that impact women in the workplace.

Held at the KYW News Broadcast Center on October 25, the event included two panel discussions with a diverse group of women leaders, including Senator Christine Tartaglione (D-Philadelphia).

Topics of discussion included women in politics and running for office, gender issues relating to the mid-term elections, the impact of the #MeToo movement, and the continuing push for gender equality in the workplace.
